If Only I Knew…
How many times have you moved furniture around to acquire the layout that welcomes others and offers the optimum conversation? For me, a lot less than tablescaping.
Iโm good at rearranging my living room and bedroom. BUT, when it comes to tablescaping thatโs another story. YIKES! ๐ฃ To improve this unpleasant attribute, I tackled the task of tablescaping, (whew! Say that three times fast without getting tongued-tied); the end result is head spinning and confusion.
Please tell me Iโm not the only that struggles with tablescaping. Does it take you hours, days to be satisfied with your table or tray design? Or are you so good and do not suffer from OCD and do not have a Type A personality that you achieve your ultimate layout on the first or second attempt? If yes, then hats off to you.

To those of you who takes hours, days and cell phone photos album consist of images of all the many versions that your brain has created; only for you to obsess over and over again at a later date, “Welcome, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. DO NOT GIVE UP!” We are in this club together! Do what I do: step away; go to bed if it’s after 10:00 pm and your head is spinning ๐คฏ. The next day, peep at it ๐ง, walk by it ๐ถ๐ฝ, smile at it ๐. If you do not detest the layout, LEAVE IT ALONE! ๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ LOUDLY say to yourself โITโS NOT THAT SERIOUS, ITโS ONLY ACCESSORIES. JEEESH!โ Most importantly, LAUGH OUT LOUD AT YOUR CRAZY SELF! ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Please note that Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a serious mental disorder. The intention of this blog is too laugh at inner workings of my brain and not to laugh at or lessen the seriousness/importance of OCD and those who battle with this mental disorder.
