“Look Mom, Polka Dots!”

As soon as my daughter and I entered Home Goods, she says, ” Mom look!” She points to a display of polka dot dishes. I have no idea how or when my obsession with polka dots began; I only know it existed for years.

I LOVE POLKA DOTS! Polka dot dishes, clothing, shoes and accessories.

Tablescaping

Time to do some tablescaping. When it comes to my dining room table, I usually do not have trouble deciding on a final layout. HA! As soon as I typed this, I recalled a recent dilemma on determining which napkins to utilize in a design; so, fingers-crossed.

Before

I love my before layout. I had the white dishes for years, which I purchased from Pier 1. I love the classic design. The chargers and the oval dish are from Home Goods. The pearl napkin rings were purchased from Amazon. The napkins are missing from the place setting because my white and gold napkins are in the garage, with the tree, blocked by furniture. I refuse to buy more napkins. Well, the truth is, I’m not actively looking and haven’t come across any that WOW’d me.

Okay, I think I’m going overboard with this layout. 😂

After

With this layout, I feel something is missing; but that’s probably to do with I’m used to having my table more accessorized. Well, this is it; I have a final layout!
